I'm off on a new adventure....Medical Coding School. It will be alot of work. The brain doesn't absorb as much as it used to and it is harder the older you get. But I have a great opportunity to take the class working for the college, so I'm going for it.

Good luck, Deb. I *know* you'll do great! =)
You go, girl! Just remember, studying RIGHT before sleeping helps you remember better. There's a complicated process called "chunking and parsing" that happens while you sleep. This is how information you were exposed to during the day makes it into long-term memory. The first information and the last information you were exposed to have the best chance of making it into long-term memory. This is known as the theory of primacy and latency, and it has been proven a bazillion times by grade schoolers trying to memorize a spelling list for generations and generations! How do I know all of this? I learned it in developmental psychology, fall semester 1999. How do I remember it nine years later? I studied right before bedtime!
